2. Scope, language and form of the contract
These Terms apply to the contract between the Provider and the person buying a ticket on the website (the Buyer). The Buyer accepts them at checkout, before starting the payment, by ticking the checkbox.
The language of the contract is Hungarian. This English translation is for information only; in case of any discrepancy, the Hungarian text prevails.
The contract is concluded electronically and is not a written contract. The Provider does not file the contract and it cannot be accessed on the website afterwards; the Buyer finds the details of the purchase in the confirmation and on the invoice. The Provider is not bound by any code of conduct.
The Provider may amend these Terms. Every purchase is governed by the Terms in force at the time of the purchase; the version in force is always available on this page.
3. Subject of the service
The Provider sells the right to attend (a ticket) the programmes advertised on the website (workshops, children's programmes, creative workshop sessions, cultural events; each a programme). One ticket entitles one person to attend one session of a programme, at the advertised time and place.
The description, date, price and number of free places of each programme — and, where applicable, the registration deadline — are shown on the programme's page. The number of free places is updated at the time of purchase; tickets cannot be bought for a session that is full.
The Provider may make minor changes to the content of a programme and, where justified (for example due to illness), replace the instructor, provided this does not affect the essence of the programme. Changes to the date or venue and cancellation are covered by section 10.
Tickets for children's programmes may only be bought by an adult (a parent or legal guardian). The programme description states the age group and whether an accompanying adult must be present.
4. Prices
Prices are in Hungarian forints (HUF), per person, and are the final price payable by the Buyer. The Provider is exempt from VAT under the Hungarian small business exemption (alanyi adómentesség); prices do not include VAT. No additional fee (handling or card fee) is charged for payment.
The total amount of the purchase — including any discount — is shown at checkout before the payment is started. If a price is obviously wrong (for example 0 HUF or a price far from the usual one due to a system error), the Provider is not obliged to provide the ticket at that price: it offers attendance at the correct price, which the Buyer may decline, in which case the Provider refunds the amount paid in full.
5. Coupon codes
The Provider may issue coupon codes. A coupon code is valid for the period and number of uses set when it is issued, and may be limited to certain programmes. One coupon code can be used per purchase.
The coupon code can be entered in the cart; the discount is shown before payment. When the payment is started, the coupon is reserved for the Buyer for 15 minutes and becomes used upon successful payment; if the payment is not completed, the coupon can be used again. Coupon codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. How to buy
Tickets can be bought without registration, in the following steps:
On the programme's page, the Buyer selects the session and the number of people, and adds the ticket to the cart.
In the cart, the Buyer can check and change the selected sessions and the number of people, remove items, and enter a coupon code.
At checkout, the Buyer enters their name, e-mail address, phone number and billing details (country, postcode, city, address; and a billing name if the invoice should be issued to a different name).
The Buyer accepts these Terms and acknowledges the data transfer declaration for SimplePay.
With the "order with obligation to pay" button the Buyer sends the order. The system reserves the places for 15 minutes and redirects the Buyer to the SimplePay payment page.
After payment, the Buyer is redirected to the website, where the result of the purchase and the booking reference are shown.
Until the payment is started, the Buyer can correct the contents of the cart and the details entered at checkout at any time; the system warns about missing or invalid data before sending. If the Buyer notices an error in their details after payment, they can report it at studipecs@gmail.com.
The contract is concluded upon successful payment. If the payment fails or is interrupted, no charge is made, the reservation lapses, the cart is kept, and a new payment can be started. If the payment is completed after the 15-minute reservation period and the session has filled up in the meantime, the Provider refunds the amount paid or — at the Buyer's choice — offers another session.
The Provider confirms a successful purchase immediately on the website and by e-mail within 48 hours at the latest. If the confirmation does not arrive within that time, the Buyer is released from their offer.
7. Payment – SimplePay
Payment is made online by bank card, or by the other methods available on the SimplePay payment page, through the system of SimplePay Plc. (1138 Budapest, Váci út 135-139. B. ép. 5. em., Hungary; company registration number: 01-10-143303). The Buyer enters the card details on SimplePay's secure payment page; they never reach the Provider.
The ticket price is charged in one amount at the time of payment. Before starting the payment, the Buyer acknowledges in a separate declaration that the Provider transfers the data needed for the payment (name, e-mail address, billing address) to SimplePay Plc. 8. Invoicing
After successful payment, the Provider issues an electronic invoice to the billing details entered at checkout and sends it to the Buyer's e-mail address. Invoices are issued with the system of Billingo Technologies Zrt.
9. Performance and attendance
The Provider performs the contract by holding the programme at the advertised time and place. Tickets do not need to be printed: at the venue the Provider may check the Buyer's name or the booking reference.
In case of late arrival or no-show, the missed part of the programme cannot be made up and — except in the cases set out in section 10 — the fee is not refunded.
Participants must follow the rules of the venue and the instructions of the instructor.
Photos and videos are taken at the programmes. The Provider only takes and publishes recordings showing an identifiable participant with that person's consent — for participants under 18, the consent of a parent or other legal guardian. Consent can be given at checkout with a separate, optional checkbox; the purchase does not depend on it. Consent is personal: when a ticket is transferred, it does not pass to the new participant, who can give their own consent at the venue. Details are set out in the Privacy Notice.
10. Cancellation, changes, refunds
If a programme is cancelled for reasons on the Provider's side, or its date or venue changes significantly, the Provider notifies the Buyer without delay by e-mail or phone. The Buyer may choose between a full refund and — if the Provider offers it — attending another session.
The Buyer may cancel free of charge by e-mail (studipecs@gmail.com) at least 24 hours before the start of the selected session; in that case the Provider refunds the fee in full. Until the same deadline, the ticket may be transferred to another person free of charge: the Buyer sends the new participant's name by e-mail. Consent to photography does not pass on with the transfer (see section 9). Within 24 hours of the start of the session, the ticket can no longer be cancelled or transferred, and the fee is not refunded — including in case of no-show.
Refunds are made within 14 days of the request or of the notice of cancellation, to the payment method used for the purchase.
11. Right of withdrawal
Under Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, under Section 29 (1) l) of the Decree, this right does not apply to contracts for services related to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
The Provider's programmes are leisure programmes held on a specific date, so the right of withdrawal without giving reasons does not apply to ticket purchases. This does not affect the cancellation and refund options set out in section 10.
12. Complaints and legal remedies
The Buyer can submit complaints about the service at studipecs@gmail.com, by phone at +36 30 599 4341, or verbally at the venue. The Provider examines verbal complaints immediately and remedies them where possible; if that is not possible, it records them in writing. The Provider responds to written complaints in writing, on the merits, within 30 days of receipt.
If the complaint cannot be settled, the consumer may turn to a conciliation body. The consumer may also turn to the conciliation body competent for their place of residence. The Provider is obliged to cooperate in the conciliation procedure.
The consumer may also turn to the consumer protection authority competent for their place of residence (the county government office), or to a court in case of a legal dispute.
13. Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Notice, available from the footer of the website.
14. Final provisions
Matters not regulated in these Terms are governed by Hungarian law, in particular Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code, Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce services, and Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.).
