In this three-hour workshop, you won’t just be sitting through yet another lecture. Through playful activities, group discussions and real-life scenarios, we’ll explore what it means to prepare for childbirth in a mindful way.

We’ll start with our own ideas, whilst also discovering practical ways to help us communicate more confidently, ask questions and play an active part in decisions that affect us.

As we prepare for childbirth, it is natural to have hopes, expectations and fears. But just how much control do we really have over things, and how can we find our own voice in a situation that cannot be fully planned in advance?

In this three-hour workshop, you won’t just be sitting through yet another lecture. Through playful activities, group discussions and real-life scenarios, we’ll explore what it means to prepare for childbirth in a mindful way. We’ll start with our own ideas, whilst also discovering practical ways to help us communicate more confidently, ask questions and play an active part in decisions that affect us.

The aim isn’t to have ready-made answers to every question, or to leave with a perfect birth plan. Rather, it is to gain a better understanding of what matters to us and to find a few points of reference that will stay with us even if things turn out differently.

No prior knowledge is required, and there are no right or wrong answers. All you need is curiosity, a bit of collaborative thinking and three hours that you can devote to preparing for your own birth.
